Specialized in the plastics industry

No off-the-shelf consulting — but operational responsibility taken by practitioners who have led plastics companies themselves for decades.

Productivity Improvement

Analysis and optimization of injection molding, extrusion and recycling processes — with verifiable impact on productivity, OEE, throughput and unit costs. Fast. On site. Measurable.

Interim Management

As managers on time, we take full responsibility in plastics companies — from restructuring and reorganization to strategic realignment and insolvency prevention.

Recycling / PCR

Post-consumer & post-industrial recycling of LDPE, HDPE, PP, PS and PET — from sorting and reprocessing to scaling up to industrial volumes. Design for recycling included.

Our focus in detail →

Process & Technology Consulting

Deep expertise in injection molding, extrusion, blow molding and film production. Introduction of new technologies, lean production, CIP and first line maintenance — from practice, for practice.

Crisis & Turnaround

As proven foul-weather captains, we make fast, well-founded decisions in plastics processing. Problems cannot be sat out — we solve them before they harden.

Investor Support

Feasibility assessment and operational support of investments in the plastics industry — with the practitioner's unclouded view and the language investors and banks understand.

Identification without compromise

When we decide to take on an engagement, we identify with the company without compromise. Figuratively speaking, we perform a genuine blood exchange — we think and act as responsible interim managers until the project is successfully completed.

Always one project only — always on site. Both of us. Two experts, two perspectives from plastics practice, one joint decision. That is our strength.

"The decisive question is always: are we creating verifiable added value for the client? For a correct assessment, we even listen to a machine to hear how it runs."

We only take on projects where we are certain we can create value in the short, medium and long term. The timely economic success helps finance our work — which makes us true partners, not service providers.

  • Absolute loyalty — honest analysis before comfortable harmony
  • Goal orientation: maximum benefit as fast as possible with minimum effort
  • Continuous performance — we actively avoid obstructive pauses and counterproductive standstill
  • Reliable forecasts from decades of hands-on experience — every one has come true so far
  • One project at a time — always 100 % present, always both of us on site
  • Ethical principles: the success of the whole before individual interests
  • Entrepreneurial responsibility: economic success helps finance our work

Two characters. One conviction.

Both managing directors look back on decades of joint leadership responsibility at world-leading companies in the plastics machinery industry — responsible for several thousand employees and revenues well into the three-digit millions. What unites them: deep technical know-how in injection molding, extrusion, recycling and packaging technology, international project experience on every continent — and the shared drive not to advise clients, but to deliver results. They have led BTMT GmbH since 2008.

Industrial recycling solutions from practice

In recent years, we have specialized intensively in building, optimizing and scaling up industrial plastics recycling plants. Our expertise covers sorting and reprocessing of LDPE, HDPE, PP, PS and PET from post-consumer and post-industrial sources for demanding injection molding and extrusion applications — from material selection and design for recycling to production of up to 65,000 tonnes per year.
